Mike is an English composer, working out of his studio in Oxfordshire. Having originally started out as a pianist and drummer, he then focused on composition and studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance.

He has since gone on to compose soundtracks for TV, film and a variety of other media. Recent work includes composing the score for the feature documentary Crazy Cat Lady (available now on Apple TV+) and providing the epic orchestral score for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Flight at the Lionsgate Entertainment World theme park in China. For television, he has worked alongside David Arnold composing additional music for the BBC1 drama Inside Man, and collaborated with BAFTA and Emmy-nominated composer Paul Leonard-Morgan on his score for Dynasty on The CW/Netflix. He has scored a number of short films, including Tinned Pears, Absent, Man Of The Land and the animated short Mr. Plastimime, directed by Oscar-winning director Daniel Greaves.

Currently, Mike is busy scoring the upcoming series of the BBC1 flagship documentary show Who Do You Think You Are?, as well as scoring an upcoming Netflix feature-length documentary with Paul Leonard-Morgan. He has also recently completed his new album, due for release in early 2023.
